Minuteman Leader Pushes Border Fence

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- If the government doesn't build security fencing along the Mexico border, Minuteman border watch leader Chris Simcox says he and his supporters will.
Simcox, whose civilian watch group opposes illegal immigration, said Wednesday he was sending an ultimatum to President Bush to deploy military reserves to the Arizona border by May 25 or his supporters will break ground for their own building project.
"We're going to show the federal government how easy it is to build these security fences, how inexpensively they can be built when built by private people and free enterprise," Simcox said.
Congress has been debating immigration reform for several months. One bill, approved by the U.S. House in December, calls for nearly 700 miles of fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border. The fence proposal has angered Mexicans, with President Vicente Fox calling it "shameful."
Simcox said a half-dozen landowners along the Arizona-Mexico border have said they will allow fencing to be placed on their borderlands, and others in California, Texas and New Mexico have agreed to do so as well.
Surveyors and contractors have offered to help with the design and survey work, and Simcox said some have said they will provide heavy equipment for his Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. to build fencing

There is an old adage that I think fits PERFECTLY into this situation that is gripping America.... GOOD FENCES MAKE GOOD NEIGHBORS. Now how long before the current crop of ASSWIPE Brain Fart Politicians (A.B.F.P) figure this out? Anyone care to place bets?? Can anyone out there give me a good reason WHY WE SHOULD NOT have a FENCE on the BORDER? I didn't think so...

Fox (not Fox News) says it's "shameful"??? How about the way Mexico treats those from South America who try entering Mexico from its southern border? The only shame is that we've waited this long to build a fence. Try living in Texas (I have) and that'll be enough to convince anyone. I felt save only because I was in a "gated community", ie. Fort Bliss.
Today Colonel I was in an "unnamed" Hamburger chain on Rt 1 in Peabody on the NORTH BOUND side. This particular chain is known for having CARPET on the floor in the dining room. As such this place is also considered a "Fine Dining" establishment for the ILLEGAL ALIEN crowd. Not only for eating but for working.
From what I could tell there where only 2 "Native English Speaking" employees in the place. The "Manager" and 1 of the three cashiers. Everyone else was without a doubt ILLEGAL. The dining room was at least 50% filled with ILLEGAL Alien Patrons. Filling up on the 99 cent menu. Important to note more than a few had a hard time placing their orders. Seems one of the cashiers spoke 1 language and the patrons another. Kind of funny since neither language spoken was ENGLISH. Except for severe broken English one cashier called back to the 4.9" girl cooking the French Fries.. err Freedom Fries.
I don't feel like I should need an interpreter to order a NUMBERED Menu Item at Hamburger place. The Management of this Chain undoubtedly knows these employees are not legal yet continues to hire and keep them on the payroll.
Now if this is the scene on Rt 1 in Peabody on the NORTH Bound side I can only imagine what Texas looks like.
I can only wonder if Dave Thomas was still alive what he would think.
Next time walk in wearing a Border Patrol t-shirt and see what reaction you get!
Any idea where a guy can get a I.N.S. or I.C.E. t shirt and jacket?
I would like to see the look of fear in some of these illegals eyes. I would LOVE to see them arrested and face possible deportation even more.
